Research Awards to Teams led by Dr Srinivasan:

  1. Best thesis Award, Springer, PhD student Oktoviano Gandhi won the best thesis award, 2020.

  2. Best PhD Dissertation Award, Gnana Sambandhan won the Second Prize in IEEE IAS Society's thesis competition for best thesis, 2019.

  3. Best PhD Dissertation Award, Bal Satarupa won the First Prize in IEEE IAS Society's thesis competition for best thesis for her work "Analysis and Design of Soft-Switching Current-fed Topologies with New Modulation Techniques for DC Microgrid and Energy Storage Applications", 2019.

  4. Best optimization algorithm, won first rank in the 'Constrained Real Parameter Optimization competition', at the bi-annual IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (IEEE WCCI), which is the largest technical event in the field of computational intelligence, July 2018.

  5. Best Conference paper award: Awarded 'Best Conference paper award' for being ranked 1 among 800 papers presented at 2017 IEEE Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration, China, Nov 2017.

  6. Best paper presentation: Best student paper presentation at IEEE INTELEC 2017 Conference, Australia, Oct 2017.
  7. Received the first prize in Siemens Smart Grid Contest, 2013, ranked 1st among 453 entries.
