Multiple positions of Research Assistant and PhD student with internationally competitive stipend for research fields of Nanophotonics, Si Photonics, Integrated photonics, and Optical NEMS

We are looking for Post-doc Fellow with strong research experience on Si Photonics, Integrated Photonics, Nanophotonics and Optical NEMS. He/she should have earned his/her Ph.D. from top tier engineering schools in the world and with outstanding record of publications. We have more than 10 Research fellows and PhD students working on various projects in this field at this moment. We expect the applicants should have strong knowledge and expertise in the design and fabrication of micro/nanophotonics. Background in optomechanics and/or optical nanomechanics is an asset. Knowledge on FDTD-based simulation programmes and strong experience in nanophotonics and optical NEMS measurement setup would be a plus.

We expect the successful candidates to be able to conduct independent research by themselves and guide the PhD students in their daily experiments. In general, the successful candidate is expected to speak and write in English fluently, and is committed to working hard.
