HE Tianyiyi

Received her B.Eng. degree from the School of Microelectronics and Solid-state Electronics at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2016, and will receive the Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore in 2020. She is currently a Research Fellow in the Dept. of ECE, NUS. Her research interests are focused on wearable energy harvesters and self-powered sensors..

Roy Kaustav

Received his B.E. degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2016, and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, in 2022. From 2019 to 2020, he has worked as a visiting researcher in the Biomedical Engineering Department (BME), Pennsylvania State University in the domain of functional micro-acoustic imaging. From 2021 to 2022, he has also worked as a senior project associate at the MEMS lab, CeNSE, IISc before joining the Center for Intelligent Sensor and MEMS (CISM) at NUS. His research interests include experimental ultrasound, MEMS, piezoelectricity and photoacoustics.

REN Zhihao

Received his B.Sc. degree from the School of Physics at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2017 After that he received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from National University of Singapore (NUS). He is currently a Research Engineer in the Department of ECE, NUS. His research interests are focused on mid-IR chemical sensors on metamaterials and nanophotonics for biomedical applications.

Liu Jinlong

LIU Jinlong received his B.Eng. degree in Flight Vehicle Design & Engineering and M.Eng. degree in Flight Vehicle Design from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), Xi’an, China in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He is currently pursuing the D.Eng. degree in Mechanics at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China. His research interests include flow-induced vibrations as well as their applications in harvesting renewable fluid flow energies (wind, tidal current, and ocean wave).

Achu Chandran
Senior Scientist at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, India

Dr. Achu Chandran is a Senior Scientist at CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He has completed his PhD in Engineering from AcSIR, CSIR-NPL Campus, New Delhi, India and subsequently joined CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, India as Scientist in 2016. Dr. Chandran’s research interest is in the area of electronic materials and devices, specifically; Piezoelectric and triboelectric nanogenerators, flexible tactile sensors, printed wearable heaters, soft memory devices, Low-temperature Co-fired Ceramics Technology (LTCC) and MEMS packaging. He has authored more than 40 publications in reputed international journals with an average impact factor of ~7, one technology licensed and filed one patent to his credits. Dr. Chandran is awarded with prestigious INAE-Young Engineer Award (2022) from Indian National Academy of Engineering, CSIR-Young Scientist Award (2021) in Engineering, Kerala State Young Scientist Award (2022) by Govt. of Kerala, IEI-Young Engineer Award by The Institution of Engineers (India) (2022-23), R. L. Thakur Memorial Award from Indian Ceramic Society (2022), ISEES Young Scientist Award-2022 from International Society for Energy, Environment and Sustainability, SERB-Early Career Research Award (2019), DAAD fellowship (2015), Germany etc. Dr. Chandran is inducted as ‘Young Associate’ to the Indian National Academy of Engineering since 2023 and a Member of the Senate of AcSIR (2022-24). He has been a Visiting Professor to ESYCOM-CNRS-ESIEE, Paris and UDSMM-ULCO, Calais, France under Scientific High Level Visiting Fellowship-2023 by the Embassy of France in India. Dr. Chandran is currently a Visiting Professor to, CISM, Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS, Singapore through SERB-SIRE Fellowship 2023 from Govt. of India. His topic of research is ‘Printed Piezoelectric-Enhanced Triboelectric Nanogenerator Arrays for Wearable Biomechanical Energy Harvesting and Self-Powered Electronic Skin Applications’.

PU Xianjie

Received the B.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Chongqing University (2008), M.Sc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC, 2011). She is currently an associate professor at Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. Her main research interests include self-powered sensors and human-computer interface.

ZHANG Guozhi
Assoc. Prof. at Hubei University of Technology, Hubei, China

Received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University, China, in 2019. Selected for the "ChuTian Scholar" talent program in Hubei Province, is the research director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Hubei University of Technology. Hosted one National Natural Science Foundation project and four provincial and ministerial level projects in China. The research results have won one second prize of Henan Province Science and Technology Achievement Award and one second prize of China Electric Power Science and Technology Innovation Award, published more than 50 SCI/EI indexed journal papers, and edited two monographs. He is now a Visting Scholar at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, NUS. His research interests are focused on insulation status monitoring technology for electrical equipment.
