Multiple positions of Research Assistant and PhD student with internationally competitive stipend for research fields of Flexible sensors, MEMS sensors, and Energy harvesters/Sensors for IoT

 

We are looking for Research Assistants / PhD applicants with strong research interests in Flexible sensors, MEMS sensors, and Energy harvesters/Sensors for IoT. He/she should possess a Master/bachelor's degree from leading universities. Candidates with sound knowledge of flexible electronics/sensors and hands-on experience in the design and measurement of flexible electronics will be given higher priority. Candidates with experiences in composite thin film materials made of PEDOTs, 2D materials and various nanowires mixed in polymers are very welcome. In general, the successful candidate is expected to speak and write in English fluently, and is committed to working hard. This project is a joint project with UC Berkeley. Regular meeting and communication with professors at UC Berkeley is expected.

For Singaporean applicants with 1st class honor in his/her BSc program, we will provide attractive remuneration package including CPF and annual bonus, while we will support the successful candidates (including Singaporean and overseas candidates) to proceed the self-financed PhD study at ECE, NUS which is ranked amongst the top 10 electrical eng. programs in the world based on the QS World University Rankings by Subject and Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
