Openings for Research Engineers and Post-Doc Fellows in Piezoelectric MEMS/NEMS at NUS, Singapore (New opening from Aug 2018)

 

We are looking for Research Fellows and Research Engineers with the hands-on experience in the following fields:

• 1) Piezoelectric AlN Thin Film Deposition and Etching

• 2) Thin Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) – Design, simulation, fabrication and testing

• 3) MEMS based SAW filter and sensors – Design, simulation, fabrication and testing

• 4) RF MEMS Switches and Resonators

• 5) Si ICP Through Wafer Etching

• 6) Flip-chip based pattern transferring technique

The expected applicants for research Engineers should fulfil the following points: Graduates of MSc Degrees in various Engineering disciplines (e.g. electrical, mechanical, materials, chemical and bio-engineering) and Physics from World Top Universities with GAP (i.e., average scores) better than 4 (out of 5).

The expected applicants for Post-doc Fellows should fulfil the following points: Strong publications in top-notch journals and PhD degree from leading universities.

To make sure that the successful candidates can speak and write in English fluently, TOFEL score of 90 or above is required for non-native English speakers.

ECE Department is one of the largest departments in NUS, with a tenure-track or tenured faculty size of approximately 90. Prof. Chengkuo Lee leads a few research projects with awarded research budget exceeding 20 M SGD. There are more than 20 PhDs successfully graduated from his lab in the past one decade.
