About Me

Teo Kie Leong is currently the Vice-Dean (Research & Technology) of the Faculty of Engineering and Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his PhD in ECE (1997) from NUS. He was a visiting scholar (1995-1996) and a post-doctoral fellow (1997-1998) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) at UC Berkeley. He joined NUS faculty at ECE in 1999. His current research interest are in the area of Spintronics with a focus on the synthesis and fabrication of novel magnetic materials for STTRAM applications and fundamental studies of novel nanomaterials under extreme conditions of high pressure, high magnetic field and low temperature. He is also a member of NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering (NGS). He has served on many research/technical review panels and conference organization committees.
