STAR helps to host the World of Science 2018 event, which is part of DSO's young defence scientist programme, to introduce satellite and space engineering to over 20 secondary school students.
Engineering open house @ STAR
This year STAR helps the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) to host the open house for incoming batch of engineering undergraduate students. The open house was well attended by over 150 students and guests taking a tour of the new STAR centre and learning more about the NUS engineering experience.

Getting ready to expand into the new space at the Singapore Wind Tunnel Facility. The Centre will have ESD (electrostatic discharge) control laboratories, a class 100k cleanroom, a satellite mission control room, space environmental test setup such as thermal chamber, vacuum chamber etc.
