I am currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. My research interests centre round the application of systems science and computational intelligence paradigms for controller design, metrology, and fault detection and diagnosis. In particular, I have published papers on : (i) intelligent modelling, control and fault diagnosis using computational intelligence techniques, (ii) application of advanced control algorithms to the semiconductor manufacturing industry, (iii) microelectromechanical pressure sensors, and (iv) auto-tuning of multivariable systems. Besides research, I am also committed to teaching. I mainly teach undergraduate students and have won numerous Teaching Awards. | ||||||||||

Outside work, I enjoy
surfing the internet and curling up in bed with a good book. I also play
tennis and golf, where the strategy is to hit the ball as hard as
possible to vent frustration. That's all, folks !!! If you have any comments, feel free to drop me a note at
