·          Dr GUO YONGXIN was appointed as Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwave in Medicine and Biology (J-ERM), 2020-2023.

·          Dr GUO YONGXIN won 2020 IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters Tatsuo Itoh Prize,IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S).

·       My PhD student, Shao Guoliang, won the First Prize in Best Student Paper Award at 2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Bio Conference (IMBioC 2019), Nanjing, China, 6-8 May 2019.

·         My PhD student, Ngo Tung, won the First Prize in Best Student Paper Awards at 2017 Asian Wireless Power Workshop, Singapore, 9-11 December 2017.

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN was a co-recipent of Design Contest Award of the 20th International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and design (ISLPED), Rome, Italy, July 2015 for the paper "A 2.89-uW Clockless Fully-Integrated Wireless ECG SoC for Wearable Sensors" by Xiaoyang Zhang, Zhe Zhang, Yongfu Li, Changrong Liu, Yong Xin Guo, and Yong Lian

·         My PhD student, Liu Zhongtao, won the Second Place in the Best Student Paper Awards at IEEE MTT-S IMWS-Bio 2015, Taipei, Taiwan, 21-23 September 2015.

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN and his visiting PhD student Liu Changrong won the Best Poster Award for the paper entitled "Compact implantable Circularly Polarized Patch Antenna for Biomedical Applications" at 11th International Conference on Wearable & Implantable Body Sensor Networks (BSN  2014), 16-19 June 2014, Zurich, Switzerland. 

·         My NUS PhD student, Sun Hucheng, won the Second Prize for his paper entitled “A Novel Rectifier for Wireless Power Transmission with a Wide Input Power Range” in the Student Innovation Competition of the IEEE International Workshop on Electromagnetics 2013 (iWEM2013), Hong Kong, Aug 1-3, 2013.

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN was the recipient of the 2013 Raj Mittra Travel Grant (RMTG) Senior Researcher Award.

·         My NUS PhD student Bi Xiaojun was selected as a finalist for IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium 2013 (IMS2013) student paper competition for his paper titled "Passives Design for A High Performance W-band Amplifier".

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure from January 2013

·         My visiting Master student from UESTC, Liu Changrong, won the first place of the student paper contest in the 2011 China largest National Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Conference at Qingdao, China for his work on “60-GHz LTCC circularly-polarized helical antenna array”, which was done in NUS. There are more than 600 papers presented at the conference.

·         My NUS PhD student Bi Xiaojun won "Best Student Paper Award" for his paper titled "60GHz Unilateralized CMOS Differential Amplifier" in ICMMT2010 at Chengdu, China, May 8-11 (20/05/2010).

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN was appointed by the ECE Dept as the MMIC Modelling and Packaging Lab Supervisor (01/04/2010-present).

·         Dr GUO YONGXIN was the National University of Singapore Young Investigator Award 2009 Winner with a research funding of SGD420,000 (01/11/2009).
