• My PhD student, Liu Zhongtao, won the Second Place in the Best Student Paper Awards at IEEE MTT-S IMWS-Bio 2015, Taipei, Taiwan, 21-23 September 2015.

• My PhD student, Sun Hucheng, won the Second Prize for his paper entitled “A Novel Rectifier for Wireless Power Transmission with a Wide Input Power Range” in the Student Innovation Competition of the IEEE International Workshop on Electromagnetics 2013 (iWEM2013), Hong Kong, Aug 1-3, 2013.  

• My PhD student, Bi Xiaojun, was selected as a finalist for the student paper competition for his work "Passives Design for A High Performance W-band Amplifier" in the IEEE MTT-S IMS, Jun 2-7, 2013.  

• My PhD student, Bi Xiaojun, won the Best Student Paper Award on “60-GHz Unilateralized CMOS Differential Amplifier” in 2010 International conference on microwave and millimeter wave technology (ICMMT2010), Chengdu, China.

• My visiting Master student, Liu Changrong, won the first place of the student paper contest in the 2011 China largest National Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Conference for his work on “60-GHz LTCC circularly-polarized helical antenna array”, which was done in NUS. There are more than 400 papers presented at the conference.
