Research Interest

    My key research interests are in data storage devices , magnetic nanostructures, spintronics materials and devices, spin transport and dynamics in magnetic nanostructures. The dimension of devices required for high density recording are approaching sub-10 nanometer scale and many new physics, technology and materials challenges will be encountered. The focus of my research is in the understanding of new physical spin phenomena at such length scale, and the engineering of materials and prototype devices for the manipulation and control of spin population and transport to effect functions for data storage and memory application.
