Marc A. Armand

Marc Armand received his B.Eng and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Bristol, U.K., in 1995 and 1999, respectively. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS as an Assistant Professor in Dec 2000 and was promoted to Associate Professorship in Jan 2010. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and works extensively in the area of detection, coding and channel modelling for data storage applications. He is a dedicated teacher and has received several teaching commendation awards from the Faculty of Engineering.
