Biography
Dr. Chee Khiang Pang, Justin, was born in Singapore in 1976. He received the B.Eng.(Hons.), M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees in 2001, 2003, and 2007, respectively, all in electrical and computer engineering, from National University of Singapore (NUS). In 2003, he was a Visiting Fellow in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE), University of Queensland (UQ), St. Lucia, QLD, Australia. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Researcher (Tenure) with Central Research Laboratory, Hitachi Ltd., Kokubunji, Tokyo, Japan. In 2007, he was a Visiting Academic in the School of ITEE, UQ, St. Lucia, QLD, Australia. From 2008 to 2009, he was a Visiting Research Professor in the Automation & Robotics Research Institute (ARRI), University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Fort Worth, TX, USA. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), NUS, Singapore. He is a Faculty Associate of A*STAR Data Storage Institute (DSI) and a Senior Member of IEEE.
His current research interests include intelligent diagnosis and prognosis of industrial networked systems, systems design of high-performance engineering systems, high-speed precision motion control, energy-efficient manufacturing systems, precognitive maintenance, data analytics, and industrial informatics.
Dr. Pang is an author/editor of 3 research monographs including
