Announcement
Positions are available for Post-Doc research
fellow and PhD students. Details …
Hai Lin obtained his B.S. degree at the University of Science and
Technology Beijing and his M.S. degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997 and 2000
respectively. In 2005, he received
his Ph.D. degree from the University of Notre Dame under the guidance of Dr. Panos Antsaklis.
Dr. Lin is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of
Electrical & Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. His teaching and research interests
are in the multidisciplinary study of the problems at the intersections of
control, communication, computation and life sciences. His current research thrust is on hybrid control systems, networked
embedded systems and systems biology.
Hybrid Cooperative Control: Development of formal methods, especially based on hybrid system theory
and supervisory control, for distributed coordination control and communication
scheme design of multirobot systems.
Systems Biology: Development of systems engineering based methodologies for challenging
problems in biological systems at the molecular level, with focus on understanding
the difference between cancer cells and normal cells in their genetic
regulatory networks and signal transduction pathways.
