Update: 22 Oct 2014-There are two open positions - one for a Post-Doc Fellow and another for a research engineer in our research group in the project of Thermal Aware 3-Dimensional Multi-Core Systems Design.

I received the B.Eng. degree in computer engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2002. I received the joint Master of Technological Design degree in embedded systems from NUS and the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUe), Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2004, and received the joint Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in the area of embedded systems from TUe and NUS, in 2009. My thesis is entitled Analysis, Design and Management of Multimedia Multiprocessor Systems.

In 2004, I was with Philips Research Labs, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where I worked on Reed Solomon codes as a Research Intern. From 2005 to 2009, I was with TUe as a Ph.D. student under project PreMaDoNA. Since 2009, I have been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS. Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the department.

I have published over 60 papers in leading international electronic design automation journals and conferences. My current research interests include analysis, design methodologies, and resource management of embedded multiprocessor systems.

Here is my Curriculum Vitae.

Teaching

One of my passions is to teach students. Following are the courses that I have taught (or teaching) during my appointment at NUS and TUe. In all my courses I ensure that students need to work on design problems in small groups to understand the concepts better.

• EE4214 Real-Time Embedded Systems (Aug 2009, Aug 2010)

• EE4218 Embedded Hardware System Design (Jan 2010)

• EE2006 Digital Design (Jan 2010, Aug 2010)

• EE6231 Reconfigurable Computing..
