The 11th Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations 2002” (HPAIR) |

| Chilgunde Amit Chandrakant, an Electrical Engineering third year student, had attended a 4-day overseas conference on “The 11th Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations 2002” (HPAIR) hosted at Sydney, Australia during 15 – 18 August 2002. This conference was jointly organized by the student organizations from Harvard University, US and Macquarie University. The theme of the conference for this year was “Traditions and Transformations: Evolving Perspectives on Asia”. There were about 400 students from nearly 60 nations who had attended this conference. The conference was conducted in the form of panel discussions and workshops to facilitate interaction among the foreign delegates and the prominent speakers on prescribed topics. The student had benefited greatly through the gaining of academic knowledge and the cultural exchange with students from various countries and backgrounds. |
