B.Eng.(Electrical Engineering) students are able to specialize
in almost any area of Electrical and Computer Engineering
mentioned above because the academic and research staff members
of the ECE Department are actively engaged in research activities
encompassing a wide range of topics. These span diverse areas
such as biomedical engineering, computer-aided design, computer
vision and image processing, computers and computer networks,
digital signal processing, embedded computing systems, microelectronics,
multimedia networking and communications, intelligent systems,
parallel and distributed processing, microelectronic devices,
power and machines, and very large scale integrated (VLSI)
circuits design.
The ECE Department has extensive laboratory facilities for its
teaching and research activities.
