The Faculty Enhancement Programme (FEP) is
compulsory for EE & CPE students admitted in AY2000 & AY2001, and
optional for students admitted from AY2002. The various activities in the FEP are as follows:
- Long term industrial attachment - LIA (six months)

- Overseas industrial attachment - OIA (six months)

- Vacation Internships - VIP (including Research Internships)
- Independent Work
(only for students admitted from AY2002):
- Technopreneurship & Incubation Program - TIP
:
- Involves the following activities that lead to setting up a business: TIP
Seminar, Workshop, Concept Plan, Full Business Plan, Start-up a company, and
Incubation
- can be exempted from some of the activities subjected to approval
- will NOT effect the academic schedule

EE & CPE students admitted in AY2000 & AY2001 (only) who take the
six-month long term or overseas industrial attachment, during an
academic semester will receive exemption from EE3001 and an elective module.
These students will still need to take at least FOUR breadth level
electives and at least FOUR depth level electives based on the
requirements of their respective programs.
