Accommodations for ISAP'06

Hotel Room Reservation --- First-come, first serve based.

Due to the busy schedule and other ISAP commitments, the hotel reservation via online will be terminated at 6:00 pm on 17 October 2006. Participants who wish to make reservation will have to contact the hotels directly. Please try quote the NUS or NTU Special Rate (when applicable) to get any possible concession rate.

Please make reservations for your accommodation early to avoid disappointment as there will be a major event happening in Singapore at the same time. The rates stated on this website are solely exclusive to this conference only and may be subjected to changes without prior notice.

Official Hotel - Orchard Hotel Singapore

Situated on the renowned Orchard Road, the Orchard Hotel commands a coveted location on Singapore's famous shopping and entertainment boulevard. Guests will find staying at the Orchard Hotel the perfect place to conduct business, entertain or simply relax. Exit from airport and follow signs to ECP (East Coast Parkway). Turn off at Rochor Road exit and turn into Bencoolen Street, drive down Fort Canning Road, then into Somerset Road and onto Orchard Blvd, on the right hand side of the street and turn right into Cuscaden Road and right again into Tanglin Road (hotel facade can be seen at this point). First set of lights, turn left, hotel is immediately on the right.

*The above rate is the conference special nett rate and it includes all the taxes (taxes and service charges) and also the breakfast(s).

• Twin:                 S$ 185.00 nett per room night (breakfast and taxes inclusive)

There will be a bus transfer each morning for delegates going to the conference hotel (One way).

Summer View Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Singapore within distance of the business district of Shenton Way, Suntec City, entertainment, educational, shopping belts of Orchard Road, Bugis Junction and next to Sim Lim Square - Hub of Computer, Electronic Good Centre. Changi International Airport is only 20 minutes ride by Taxi or public transport. Transport is facilitated by close proximity of Bugis MRT Station (5 minutes walk) and easy availability of public transports (Bus and Taxi) to any part of Singapore.

Terms and Conditions

NOTE: Generally, the hotel check-in time in Singapore is 14:00 hrs and the check-out time is 12:00 hrs. Actual check-in / check-out times may differ in different hotels. The check-in time will be indicated in the email sent to you when your reservation is confirmed.

Please indicate your arrival and departure date and time in Singapore local time (GMT+08:00) when making your reservations.

Payment Details

• Payment for the one-night deposit has to be made using Credit card only (Visa or Mastercard). Please note that the merchant name reflected on your credit card statement will be “Integrated Meetings Specialist Pte Ltd”

• A 4% transaction fee will be imposed on all online credit card transactions.

• Reservation will only be confirmed upon payment and is subjected to room availability.

• ONLY A ONE-NIGHT DEPOSIT (equivalent to the room rate of your selected hotel) would be charged to you credit card. Payment for the remaining room nights is to be made directly to the hotel upon check-out.

• RECEIPT OF THE ONE-NIGHT DEPOSIT PAYMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION. Your reservation will be subjected to the availability of room(s) at the selected hotel. Your reservation confirmation will be sent to you via email within one week of receipt of payment.

Cancellation Policy

• A 50% refund will be given for cancellations made in writing and received by the conference manager on or before 1 Oct 2006.

• There will be no refund for cancellation made after 1 Oct 2006.

• An administrative fee of SGD 50.00 would be charged for EVERY amendment made after confirmation of reservation.

• Should you fail to check-in to the hotel at the stated check-in date, your one-night deposit will be forfeited and your reservation or the rest of the room nights will automatically be cancelled.

• If there are no more rooms available at the hotel you have selected, we will recommend another hotel in a similar category for your consideration. Should you choose not to make your reservation then, your one-night deposit will be refunded to you after deducting the 4% transaction fee.
